Blowing winds from an afternoon in Phoenix. In Northern Nevada, we call these winds Washoe Zephyrs. In Southern California, they are are called in Santa Ana. What are they called in Arizona?
The joke about New Mexico is that it is so windy because Texas sucks and Arizona blows. But I don't know if that holds true here :)
But really, it wasn't that windy here. And I know they suffer from monsoons as early as June, so that might be part of it. It has rained in Albuquerque the last 2 days, so it might be the start of monsoons! Bring on the wind and dust!
